Stöferle, an automotive supplier, is entering into a partnership with the Italian company Endurance Overseas

DZ BANK advised the Stöferle family on the sale of a majority stake in the family business to Endurance Overseas, based in Turin

The Stöferle family has established a strategic partnership and initiated a succession plan through the sale of a majority stake in Stöferle GmbH and Stöferle Automotive GmbH in Untersulmetingen, Baden-Württemberg. Since its foundation in 1992, the Stöferle Group has developed into a well-established supplier to the automotive industry. The companies built up by Erich Stöferle machine aluminum die-castings and have unique expertise in their in-house mechanical engineering. In the Financial year 2024, a revenue of more than EUR 86 million was generated with around 180 employees.

The acquirer, Endurance Overseas Srl, is part of the listed company Endurance Technologies Ltd. based in India. Endurance Technologies, a supplier with around 4,000 employees in Asia, Europe and Africa, is active in the two- and four-wheeler business. The focus of its European business is on die-casting and machining aluminum, steel and plastic components. The company also manufactures components for the e-mobility sector.

The partnership marks a further milestone in the successful history of the Stöferle Group. Combining the expertise of both partners will strengthen business relationships with well-known manufacturers and suppliers in the automotive industry, increase production depth and improve the ability to secure new orders in the field of e-mobility.
