Services

The service sector is the largest German economic sector and accounts for around 70% of total German gross domestic product (GDP). The service industry sectors include, for example, facility management, environmental services / recycling, education services, personnel services, engineering services, testing / inspection / certification (TIC), construction-related services / craft as well as consulting services.

Due to the heterogeneity within the services industry, the individual sectors are characterised by different drivers and trends and have different market structures. At the same time, there are a distinct M&A activity and consolidation trends in practically every services sector, which, in addition to current issues such as the shortage of skilled labour and artificial intelligence, confront entrepreneurs from the German Mittelstand with new challenges and put them under pressure to act.

Thanks to our successfully completed transactions and our many years of expertise, we have a deep insight into the industry and know the challenges within the individual sectors of the services industry.
