Caravan Center Bocholt

Expansion of business area through acquisition in the Rhineland

With the help of DZ BANK, Caravan Centre Bocholt prevails in a competitive bidding process

DZ BANK advises the shareholders of Caravan Center Bocholt on the acquisition of Camperland Bong

Founded in 1996, the family business Caravan Center Bocholt is the largest caravan dealer in Europe and one of the leading motorhome dealers in Germany. On an operating area of around 60,000m² at the new location in Bocholt, which opened in 2022, CCB presents its customers with 450 vehicles on a permanent basis, 150 of which are in a closed, air-conditioned exhibition. The workshop and service centre are also located on site.

With the acquisition of Camperland Bong, a caravan specialist from the Rhineland with over 50 years of tradition, the Caravan Centre Bocholt expands its business area and now serves customers from the Münsterland region to the Lower Rhine and Ruhr area and into the Rhineland. At the same time, Mr Bong is settling his company succession with this transaction, safe in the knowledge that he is handing over the Bong family's life's work into good hands and thus securing its future.

Birgit Meyer zu Selhausen, Rolf Martin Blume and Christian Radtke were responsible on the DZ BANK side

For our very first acquisition, we deliberately looked for an experienced transaction partner. We absolutely made the right decision in choosing DZ BANK. The team provided us with professional advice and support at all times and at all levels.
